Final movie - "Cast Away"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fWFeWmP-i5o&feature=youtu.be
I named my movie "cast away" because to me my model has that same sense of isolation and entrapment that is similar to the one on the island. This is because of the 'closed off'-ness of my model, it has the roof on top of it, and because of the water surrounding it
With my video I feel that I have successfully managed to capture some fairly good shots of both different views of my model and the animation. Movie maker was not very kind to me and kept crashing so I have worked the best that I could have with the footage that I had. My music was sourced from soundcloud and is a quirky little beat that works in time to the animation and the changing shots. Overall, considering the amount of problems that I had with both cryengine and movie maker I feel that have made a good movie that successfully explores my model

Planning new story board
After having several practices of recording using fraps I have realised that I am unable to have panning shots as my model is too large to capture a smooth camera movement, it just ends up jittery. Therefore I think I will use still establishing shots of my model to begin with and then see if I can capture some good animation shots to show off the models scale and movement

Old storyboards
My model has since changed, but these are old storyboards I drew up planning out my model. It involved the camera essentially 'hopping' from platform to elevator and so on and so forth. However they do not apply now as my model has since been extended therefore there is more of a space to explore. I need to draw up new storyboards relevant to my current model, with more of an emphasis on start, middle and end
